Spike Video Game Awards 2011

Десятого числа, в субботу, прошла церемония награждения Spike Video Game Awards 2011. Игра Bioshock Infinite была представлена в номинации «Самая ожидаемая игра», и взяла второе место, уступив первое Mass Effect 3 от Bioware, и нагло потеснив титана Blizzard Entertainment c Diablo 3, игрой, которая заняла третье место.

Кроме того, на церемонии был показан новый трейлер Bioshock Infinite. Ролик довольно короткий, но содержательный. Судя по всему, песню, которая послужила фоном этого видео, исполняет Кортни Дрейпер (1), актриса, подарившая свой голос главной героине игры, Элизабет (2).

Песня, которая звучит в трейлере, фантазия на тему композиции Will The Circle Be Unbroken, впервые прозвучавшей в одноименном альбоме американской кантри группы Nitty Gritty Dirt Band в 1972 году. В трейлере исполняется оригинальный припев.
