Diana Allers. "I Can't Turn Down Exclusivity"
Diana Allers is a military correspondent for the Alliance News Network. She hails from Milgrom, Bekenstein, and considers herself a "child of the colony."
Diana is a potential romantic interest for a character of any gender, but a romance with Diana is not exclusive—having a fling with the correspondent won't prevent you from pursuing a relationship with someone else.
When Shepard first arrives at the Citadel, Diana is already waiting for him in the "Normandy" docking bay D24. We encounter her as she, with her characteristic determination, interrogates the crew of the "Normandy" about the ship and the captain. If you engage her in conversation, she'll ask for permission to join the crew as a journalist reporting from the spaceship. Shepard can agree to this or send Diana on her way. If allowed on board, she will settle in the right cargo hold of the "Normandy."
It’s better to take Diana along. She will bring war asset points and will promote Shepard, which also contributes significantly to the military assets. Moreover, she can be dismissed from the ship at any time.

If you do not take Diana aboard, she will join the crew of the dreadnought "Shasta" (SSV "Shasta"). Later, in one of the reports from the Citadel, it will be reported that the dreadnought "Shasta" was destroyed in the "Horse Head Nebula." All crew members, including journalist Diana Allers, perished. In her will, Allers bequeathed a significant sum to the University of Milgrom's Rossberg School of Journalism.
Interview
After certain key events in the game, Diana will request an interview with Shepard, as that’s precisely why we brought her aboard, right?
My light, Shepard, tell me, disclose the whole truth...
The first interview will take place after the mission on Tuchanka. Diana will inquire about Shepard’s opinion on people who believe humanity will start a new war with the Rachni or during the Krogan uprising. She will also ask if Shepard realizes that the Krogan have submitted a request to the Council for the right to have an embassy on the Citadel and a new colony planet, to which Shepard may agree to negotiations or end the interview.
The time for the second interview comes after "Cerberus" attacks the Citadel. Given that "Cerberus"—that small terrorist group as Diana describes it—has nearly seized the Citadel, the journalist is curious if there’s any safe place left. She also mentions humanity's dire situation and asks how long the new Alliance administration will last. If Shepard agrees to answer, she’ll ask another question from a viewer on Tesseris regarding the alleged connection between the captain and "Cerberus."
The third and final interview occurs after the "Priority: Rannoch" mission. She will ask about cooperation with the Geth or Quarians, depending on the choices Shepard made on Rannoch.
In the meantime, captain, consider your behavior.
Aside from the grand interviews "face to face," we can witness minor squabbles between Diana and the crew of the ship that our brave captain will need to resolve, as well as observe Diana reporting on events occurring on the ship from her cabin.
Romance with Diana
Entering a romance with this lovely representative of the female gender is a piece of cake. She has a free outlook on relationships, as long as they do not interfere with work, so she will be the first to "make contact."
If Shepard doesn’t interrupt the second interview, Diana will tell Shepard that if he continues feeding her like this, she will follow him home.
After the interview about the Geth/Quarians, Shepard will ask Diana if she plans to record a report now, to which Diana will respond, hinting at her interest in the captain: "Waiting is not a problem. I already have a good introduction and an idea for the ending. It’s just the middle that needs filling in." If Shepard desires to continue, Diana will remark that their relationship will have to remain a secret, otherwise, her career will be in jeopardy. Shepard reassures her that everything will stay between them, and they kiss.

The romance with Diana is a fling that other potential partners of Shepard will not find out about, so if desired, your character can spend the night with the persistent reporter and then dive into someone else's embrace.
