The "Perfect Assassin" Contest supported by GAMER.ru, IgroMagaz, and Akella[update]
Greetings, gamers. Just recently (about 3 months ago), a creative contest for Assassin's Creed: Revelations was concluded at GRU, the results of which determined that 8 people would receive jewels with the game and/or various souvenir goodies.
The results were announced in December, and now it's spring. I decided it was time to reach out to the organizers. Contest informed me that everything was sent to the winners back in January, citing the words of the CM from Akella.
Okay, sometimes there are issues with email delivery. But, as it turned out, other winners also haven't received their copies of the game.
Naturally, I reached out to the CM from Akella; however, my inquiry was ignored. Later, I was told that when asked about the prizes, the CM merely dodged the questions.
Looking at what Akella is doing, even Altair would turn in his grave.
From this, appropriate conclusions were drawn. Since it wasn't possible to shed light on the situation through DM, I attempted to do so publicly by creating this post.
At the request of the public, I added recorded instances of deception (there's no other way to put it) of users on the site by a representative of Akella:
I. For winning the contest for Saints Row 3 (results were announced in early December), people still haven't received the promised prizes.
II. The authors of the 3 best works (I only contacted Kimonom) cannot receive their promised prizes from the competition "I Want to Become a Mercenary!"
III. In the competition for Dead Island, conducted by Akella back in November, the conditions were violated by Akella itself. Users were supposed to receive the audience's choice prize by gathering the most upvotes for their thematic comments. However, a difference of 100+ votes between the winner and Chili was "not noticed" by the organizer.
I believe enough arguments have been presented for the administration to have appropriate questions for the CM from Akella, who, through negligent behavior, is damaging not only the reputation of the represented company but also the reputation of GRU itself.
