Mass Effect 3: the revelation of the big mystery caused outrage among fans
Fans of [Mass Effect 3](/games?search=Mass Effect 3) share a so-called love-hate relationship with the developer Bioware. Just as the passions around the gay Shepard had begun to settle (notably, no one complains about the female incarnation of Shepard’s romances with other ladies), a scandal of galactic proportions erupted. Becoming acquainted with its essence means encountering what are called massive spoilers. (You have been warned: they are massive.)
So. As is widely known, fans of the [Mass Effect](/games?search=Mass Effect) series (predominantly male), who take the in-game romances seriously, hold a particular disdain not for Liara or Miranda, but for the one hiding behind a mask (due to racial immunity issues), Tali. Due to Tali's pleasant nature, she is adored by shy regulars of imageboards and is constantly compared to female characters from beloved Japanese anime. (Not surprisingly — Tali, in a sexual sense, was a catgirl... in a bag.) Countless speculations about the lady's appearance have been made. Paranoiacs suspected needle-like teeth and/or tentacles around her mouth, while optimists envisioned Tali as humanoid. The optimists were right, but at what cost!
At some point, Commander Shepard finds a photo of Tali without her mask on his desk. (If it weren’t for her pale eyes, she would be attractive — but that's a subjective opinion). The problem that triggered nerd rage was that the photo was taken from a stock photo bank (!) Getty Images for free (!!) and hastily retouched. Kotakuites write that they are keeping up with the events, but we know they are munching popcorn. Which cracks like…
