Mass Effect Goodies
Popular franchises give rise to a lot of different goodies – souvenirs, clothing, item models. And while some criticize [Mass Effect](/games?search=Mass Effect) for its "not-so-great" ending, someone else is passionately wanting some little trinket from the game – a keychain, badge, magnet, t-shirt, or at least a ringtone for their phone! Naturally, demand creates supply.
In this article, I want to review the available "offers".
SOUVENIRS
Do you want an army dog tag with the Alliance forces insignia? Or with the N7 mark?
Want a bottle opener keychain to pop open a beer with flair? :) With the SPERF agents' symbolism or N7 symbolism?
Or perhaps you want an N7 hoodie so everyone knows – here comes Shepard! Right off the Normandy!.. Well, or at least his fan :)
Maybe you want to "calibrate" someone? :) Or you just want to wear a t-shirt featuring Garrus? Or The Legion?..
A bag?
Or maybe a couple of wonderful magnets for your fridge will suffice?
A poster featuring the magnificent Miranda?..
In short, here you can choose what your heart desires, with delivery to your home.
WEAPON MODELS
The next "goodie" is far from new. This is a replica of the N7 assault rifle from [Mass Effect 3](/games?search=Mass Effect 3) released even before the game’s launch.
I must say that the Russian internet has repeatedly copied 9 photos illustrating the creation of the rifle, but few credited the author. The search finally brought me the keyword "volpinprops," and then it became easier.
So, the model was created by Harrison Krix, known by the nickname Volpin, specifically for BioWare for the SDCC 2011 exhibition. "Volpin Props" is his firm. In fact, here on his site>> is described the process of making the rifle, and also here>>.
And here’s a video about creating the models. (Even if you don't know English, you can see something interesting).
But we have a post about goodies and souvenirs, not talented makers. It's no surprise that enterprising Krix managed to set the business up on a large scale, and today you can (with enough determination) buy such a rifle for yourself.

By the way, this rifle model was featured in the movie trailer [Take Earth Back](http://youtu.be/0DSCFQcR08E) for Mass Effect 3.

First, stencils are made on a plotter, then using them, inscriptions are applied, and then even the body itself is retouched.

RINGTONES
The latest goodies will delight those who love to change ringtones and find like-minded people right on the street.
Yesterday, in the swimming pool locker room, my phone called out to me in Legion's voice several times - "Shepard commander"... No, Mass Effect fans don’t walk into pools - no one even turned around :D
Ringtones for every taste, from "assuming direct control" to "I’m commander Shepard and this is my favorite...", replicas of Suzy, Kelly, Traynor, and even a beautifully cut piece from "Commander Shepard".

At the "Craft Fair," a photo of this handmade necklace was found. It's called "Open Space." Author: Midnightress.
