Five Rules of a True Dragonborn
Hello, friends!
He has arrived - the killer of free time and the potential RPG of 2011 - Skyrim. Many have completed the story, some are still in the process, but one thing is certain: everyone is having a great time exploring the snowy expanses of Skyrim. How can we make it more challenging, interesting, and captivating?
The following text serves as a brief
guide to masochism. During the writing process,
89 bandits, 54 crabs, 23 trolls, 8 bears, and 5 dragons were harmed.
First, establish a rule for yourself - never fast travel from one point to another, including using the stablemaster. Walk or ride on the roads; for a deeper role-play experience, consider walking instead of running (running in combat is allowed), but keep in mind that this will stretch your playtime by about five times. Though, who said that's a bad thing?
Don’t turn yourself into a walking arsenal. Carry no more than two blades and one bow, or one blade, a shield, and a bow. Quest items don't count as long as you're not carrying them for too long. Try to collect trophy weapons and gear with the idea that you don’t have a huge backpack and a cart for bottles. So, don’t hoard ;)
Remember, you are playing as a living being, not a flying camera, which in turn means you need a routine. Try to stay in inhabited areas at night, eat local culinary delights, drink wine, listen to bards, read books, have drunken brawls, enjoy life, damn it! Camping under the stars is also allowed but highly discouraged. Night outings are only for extreme necessity (for example, if you’re a thief and need to come at night or if you’re a vampire).
It’s very important to adhere to a potion limit - no more than 10-15 bottles. This is the ideal balance between playability and realism. Gather ingredients without limits; herbs don’t take up much space, but take exotic components like fingers, hearts, eyes, fat, etc., in strictly limited quantities.
Acquiring a horse is a good idea, but the same restriction applies as for walking - try to move only on roads, although if you’re really eager, you can stroll along the forest edge. Take care of your horse; don’t charge headlong into battle and don’t use it as an assistant in combat.
As you may have noticed - all restrictions are attempts to make the world and gameplay as realistic as possible. It may not be as fast-paced and thrilling now, but... Difficult? Absolutely! But by following all these points, you will be able to enjoy a unique gaming experience that you will remember and share with friends.

P.S.: Constructive feedback on the text is welcomed, both technical and semantic.
