Fable III is a role-playing game, the latest creation of the renowned Peter Molyneux and his team.
The events unfold 50 years after the end of Fable II. The old monarch has died and left Albion to Logan, your character's older brother. But under the pressure of power, Logan has changed and become a tyrannical ruler. At the very beginning of the game, you are forced to leave Logan's royal palace along with your teacher, Sir Walter Beck, and your servant, Jasper. After that, you start gathering an army of like-minded individuals, not even shunning the nomads living in the cliffs and former soldiers. But he learns that a dark creature, which has already destroyed the state of Aurora, is about to attack Albion. That’s why Logan has been so cruel to the people of Albion — he was gathering funds for an army capable of defending the country from the wicked beast.
The player carries out a coup and becomes king. Now he must fulfill the promises made to his revolutionary comrades or betray them to collect money for the protection of Albion. The player can even appropriate treasury funds for himself or invest their own. You can also invest state funds in various enterprises and either profit or lose them. Your funds can be replenished in different ways: by taking money out of your own pocket or from your people's pockets. The game also allows you to choose any type of government: anarchistic or, for example, democratic. If you manage the people well, you will earn their love and obedience. If poorly, be prepared to lose their support at the most crucial moments.
