Tropical paradise is merely a refuge for evil in Far Cry, the most beautiful shooter of its time. Jack Carver, a freelance sailor, cursed the day he ended up here. A week ago, he was hired by a pretty journalist, Val, to take her to the untouched paradise of the jungle. When they arrived, Jack's boat was blown up by a missile fired by some unknown military faction. The vessel is destroyed, the money is gone, Val has vanished, and Carver, armed only with a pistol, faces an army of mercenaries living on this island.
