Genshin Impact combines elements of RPG, exploration, and action. As Aether (or Lumine), you will search for your missing twin while getting involved in the intrigues, legends, and issues of each region. Along the way, you'll meet friends, many of whom will readily join you on your adventures (though you'll need to summon them through a gacha lottery).
Quests will include standard kill-and-fetch missions and more intricate quests requiring puzzle-solving, interacting with NPCs, passing trials, and more. The developers have made an effort to strike a balance between grinding for experience and resource gathering, and rewarding players for skillful use of abilities and world exploration.
