"Hollow Knight" is a metroidvania with a dark fantasy atmosphere from the studio "Team Cherry", released on February 24, 2017, for PC. It was later released on other platforms in 2017: Mac OS, Linux, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch.
"Hollow Knight" is a platforming analogue of "Dark Souls" in a world of insects going through tough times. The player takes on the role of a small brave knight who faces many challenges. On this difficult journey, he will:
• meet various characters, talk to them, read their thoughts, and die;
• defeat numerous regular enemies and epic bosses, and die;
• search for secrets and artifacts, and die;
• visit picturesque locations, listen to great music, and die.
