The game features a non-linear story, a revolutionary melee combat system, and a living world. The action unfolds in the Holy Roman Empire of the late Middle Ages. The developers have prepared for players a tale of harsh and brutal power struggles. In addition to battles of various scales and significance, you will need to forge connections and improve your reputation. Notably, there is no magic or mythology in the world of Kingdom Come: Deliverance. It is based on historically authentic characters, themes, and events. A kind of medieval simulator, albeit not without a certain degree of gameplay conventions.

Description: Bohemia is a land at the very heart of Europe, renowned for its culture, silver, and many castles. After the death of the beloved ruler, Emperor Charles IV, dark times fell upon these lands. War, corruption, and contradictions tear apart the jewel of the Holy Roman Empire.
Wenceslaus, one of Charles IV's sons, inherited the throne, but unlike his father, he turned out to be simple-minded, weak-willed, and unscrupulous. His half-brother, Hungarian King Sigismund, sensed the weakness of the new ruler. Under the pretense of goodwill, Sigismund travels to Bohemia and kidnaps Wenceslaus. Now, with no king in Bohemia, he can plunder it without retribution and claim all its wealth for himself.
In the midst of all this chaos is your character - the son of the blacksmith, Jindřich.
The peaceful life was shattered by the mercenaries of King Sigismund, who, by his personal order, burned your hometown to the ground. You became one of the few lucky enough to survive this slaughter.
Stripped of your home, family, and future plans, you enlist with Lord Radzig, who is attempting to organize a resistance against the invasion. Fate thrusts you into this bloody confrontation and casts you straight into the hell of civil war, where you will have to contribute to the struggle for the future of Bohemia.
