"Rune" is a world of mighty warriors of the North, a world of Vikings. The game will transport you to a time of brutal religion, grim morals, and cold nature. As the young Viking Ragnar, you will face fantastic creatures — characters of ancient Scandinavian mythology — and defeat the villain who plans to exterminate the entire Viking race.
In this game, developed on an enhanced graphics engine of Unreal Tournament, you will conquer the snowy peaks of northern mountains and descend into the deep dark caves of the underworld of Scandinavian legends. An epic plot, bloody battles, and 'living' fantastic worlds harmoniously combine in "Rune" and recreate the atmosphere of the early Middle Ages, a brutal time where the sword and greed ruled the world.
