SOMA is a new project from Frictional Games, shrouded in a cloud of rumors circulating across the internet. This is not just another action game, of which there are many—it's a game that has nothing in common with the existing ones! At the very least, this is because the game's theme is rooted in science fiction works: there are few projects of this kind. But more importantly, the developer periodically fuels public interest! For example, on 09.10.13, the official website's Info section stated approximately: "This is not just a game. This is a game on a new engine, whose development is almost complete. All we can say is that this engine is created entirely differently than any other. The very principles of its creation bear no resemblance to existing concepts of games." And it was further added: "Don't forget that PC does not only mean Windows." It can be assumed that the game will be released on Macintosh and Linux as well. In any case, the word Windows does not appear anywhere, yet the term PC is found in many sources.
