“Territory 2” is a new browser-based online game with RPG elements from the creators of the first part of “Territory.” The game was developed over many years and is permeated with the spirit of the project from seven years ago, which was tested and loved by hundreds of thousands of users. The game does not require client installation, despite its high-quality graphics. All of this has become possible thanks to new methods in the use of flash technology. According to the game’s storyline, in the world of the second “Territory,” the conflict between syndicates and alliances continues to evolve.
Terrible events have led to the destruction of many factions and their leaders, and some of those who survived have chosen to unite to confront a new, terrible threat. Each player begins their journey in the Survival Academy, where they are faced with the choice of who they will become in the future. Now players can level up not only basic characteristics familiar from the first game but also various additional skills that help unveil the new hero in full. “Territory 2” offers its players a large amount of various equipment and different types of weapons, each of which provides its own tactics on the battlefield.
There are various attacks and ways to block them, as well as many kinds of inflicted damage. Additionally, implants that enhance various characteristics and abilities assist in battle. By the way, now players can fight not only against each other but also with various monsters and robots that inhabit the city and its surrounding areas. Now in Chimera City, players can also complete quests, which significantly diversifies the overall gaming process. As before, any player has the right to choose whether to survive in the harsh world alone or join one of the factions presented in the game.
The game world itself consists of vast territories with radiation, poisoned water, and land—essentially, a typical post-apocalyptic world with all the consequences. Although what happens on the screen somewhat resembles the good old Fallout, the game is not a clone of anything but a full-fledged, albeit somewhat unexpected continuation of “Territory.” Any player who has managed to survive in such adverse conditions and level up to the fifteenth level can enlist in one of the three alliances – the Twilight Syndicate, the League of Rebirth, or the Vanguard of Wrath. Each of the alliances offers various opportunities for further journeys in the harsh world. Furthermore, new locations and territories are opened up. Within the alliance, players can create clans.
According to the developers, not all the ideas that were originally planned have been implemented in “Territory 2,” but this is only for now. Gradually, new locations, new types of combat, exciting quests, not to mention weapons, equipment, and gear, will be added.
