The BerserkCon festival will take place in Moscow on November 28 and 29
The BerserkCon 2026 festival has been announced. It will take place on November 28 and 29 at Danilovsky Event Hall in Moscow. The event is for both fans of the Berserk collectible card game and those just discovering the world of Laar and its rules. For two days, the venue will host card tournaments, role-playing adventures, artist meet-and-greets, cosplay, and presentations. Admission and all activities except tournament participation will be free.
Newcomers don’t need their own deck or have to learn the rules in advance. Game masters will explain the basics of the Berserk and Berserk Heroes CCGs, help them play their first games, and put together a deck for future play. The event will also feature a prize-points system: visitors can earn points by taking part in various activities and exchange them for rewards at the prize shop.
Experienced players can look forward to a packed tournament schedule. On Saturday, November 28, two major six-round tournaments will run simultaneously: Sealed, where players build a deck on-site from random cards, and Constructed, where participants play with decks prepared in advance. Players will compete for qualification for the Grand Prix, the year’s main tournament, which draws players from across Russia. On Sunday, there will be three-round mini-tournaments in several formats, including Draft, Sealed, Constructed with a sideboard, Eternal, and Chaos Draft using boosters from every set in the game.
Tournament tickets are available through the festival’s crowdfunding campaign. The organizers have prepared three tiers of bundles, each including tournament tickets and exclusive BerserkCon merch. Those who aren’t planning to travel to Moscow can also support the project: after the festival, they’ll be able to order a bundle for delivery. Details about the bundles and tournament formats are available on the campaign page.
In addition to the competitions, guests can try the story-driven board game Berserk: Adventures. Higart, explore unusual Berserk game modes, and be among the first to learn more about an upcoming release. They’ll also be able to play Berserk Heroes Online, a digital collectible card game set in the world of Laar. The program offers a chance to see this familiar world from different perspectives and choose how to dive in.
Tabletop role-playing games will also have a special place at the festival. On both days, the D20 club will run short sessions that bring Berserk creatures together with dungeon adventures. On Saturday and Sunday evenings, game masters from various clubs will join the program. These adventures are free to play, but require advance registration, as places at the tables are limited.
You’ll be able to meet the heroes of Laar away from the gaming table, too. A fan cosplay contest will be held in the festival’s online group, and visitors will be able to take photos with characters at the festival itself. Berserk artists will bring their own merch, demonstrate their drawing process at the venue, and sign autographs. The organizers will announce the list of invited artists on the event’s social media channels at a later date.
There will also be a market where guests can browse unusual souvenirs and crafts by independent makers. In the lounge area, visitors can relax in soft beanbag chairs or pass the time with simple games unrelated to card battles. On Saturday evening, those already familiar with Laar’s lore can put their knowledge to the test in a themed quiz.
The organizers haven’t forgotten those staying at home. They plan to livestream from the venue on both YouTube and VKontakte. The broadcasts will feature the most exciting tournament matches, interviews with guests, and a look at upcoming releases with exclusive details.
BerserkCon will take place on November 28 and 29, from 10:00 to 21:00, at Danilovsky Event Hall, 71 Dubininskaya Street, Moscow. The program, news, and information about signing up for activities will be posted in the official VKontakte and Telegram communities.
