I watched it. And I watched "Existence". There was also "World on a Wire" based on the novel "Simulacron-3" - I haven't watched or read that one yet. At least not so far.

Who knows? There is an opinion that the brain of all people has roughly the same potential, it's just that many use it only 10% or less. So if we assume that the remaining capacities are used for calculations, it turns out to be not so little after all.

I believe that "The Matrix" is overrated, especially considering "Dark City" and other plots on similar themes with much greater depth.

I also recently learned that originally, people in The Matrix were supposed to be processors, not batteries, which makes much more sense. But in the final version, it was changed because they were afraid that the average American viewer might not understand. So the film was dumbed down at least in this regard.
