"Berloga: Beekeeping Defense" Goes International
The national cyber-physical platform "Berloga" reached the finals of the federal Export Accelerator, where it presented its flagship game "Beekeeping Defense" to international experts and received positive feedback. This opens new opportunities for promotion in the markets of India and the Middle East.
The Export Accelerator for creative industries is organized by the Agency for Strategic Initiatives. The final pitches took place on November 26 in Moscow. Berloga was among the top five out of 35 gaming companies from all over Russia—from Kaliningrad to Tomsk.
"Beekeeping Defense" as a Product for the Global Market
Anastasia Starostinskaya, the head of the project office and international integration of the National Cyber-Physical Platform "Berloga," presented the project to international partners, combining gameplay mechanics and programming education. Key features of the product:
Flexible Format: indie mode (Tower Defense with programming elements) and multiplayer ("capture the flag") "Beekeeping Defense: Arena" for hosting tournaments.
Multiplatform: support for Windows, Linux, and Android operating systems.
Language Adaptation: the interface is already translated into Russian, English, and Chinese.
Clear Focus on the Audience: the product is targeted at both the B2C segment (enthusiast gamers) and B2B/B2G (educational institutions, clubs).
Plans for India and the Middle East
Participation in the accelerator allowed Berloga to establish direct contacts with representatives of foreign companies from India, China, and the UAE. A strategy for promoting "Beekeeping Defense" in India and the Middle East is currently being developed.
For Berloga, reaching the finals of the Export Accelerator was a logical step in developing a project that was originally created as a large-scale educational ecosystem. This achievement further confirms the export potential of Russian EdTech solutions.
