Without PR, you're half a person, but with PR, you're a hectare! The best gift for girls on February 23.
February 23 is a special holiday for any man. It is the day when beloved women shower their men with bouquets of crimson roses, rather than the other way around, whisper sweet words to them, snuggle tightly against their steadfast masculine chests, and some even commit crazy acts for the 'defenders of the Fatherland.'
We at GAMER.ru are tenderly protective of the fragile Sveta – the only girl in our friendly team, – so we strictly forbade her from thinking about gifts in the lead-up to this holiday. However, using Conan Doyle's deductive method, about a week before the significant date, I started noticing some fidgeting in the words and actions of our beloved PR director. Strange girls were calling her, asking odd questions, and every time she answered the phone, she would cover the microphone with her palm and look away. My last doubts that something was amiss vanished when Sveta approached me and asked to borrow my Playstation Portable. I lent it to her, but the thought kept spinning in my head: 'What the hell is going on?'
It turned out that all roads led to the 'Savelovskaya' metro station.
It was there – why, by the way? – in the depths of Khrushchyovka architecture, two beauties, Komsomol members and simply charming girls, under the relentless and merciless lens of the photographer, decided to showcase not only their beauty and grace but also to tell, using a sleek in-frame composition, about the tough work of PR directors in the gaming press. In preparing for the shoot, Sveta and Liza (Elizaveta Mikhailovskaya - PR manager of the First Gaming Channel) tried on a dozen outfits, fiddled with gamepads from all existing gaming consoles on the market, sifted through a bunch of ideas and concepts, and, most unpleasantly, rejected two video clips personally suggested by me. Therefore, as I headed to the shoot, I had no idea what awaited me.
Navigating through the late February snowdrifts, I finally found the right house and stared at the shabby iron door behind which, according to Sveta, the sought-after studio was hiding. It was almost impossible to believe, but there was nothing to be done, and I, veiling my eyes, pressed the doorbell. A friendly, albeit slightly tired smile from my colleague emerged from the creaking door – just in time. I regret to inform the most ardent fans of Sveta – I was forbidden, under the threat of hot iron, from revealing women's secrets, recounting hilarious professional jokes of PR specialists, and even filming the entire shooting process.
However, like a true hero, I disregarded these conditions and captured the most sensitive moments of the shoot. The full director's cut of the film 'Savelovsky Station – It’s Cool' will appear on store shelves across the country, but only during Sveta's two-week vacation. Stay tuned for announcements!
Joke.
However, to avoid distorting your perception of these shots with my convoluted thoughts, I asked the girls to comment on this photo adventure, and here’s what I heard in response:
'First of all, we want to make a lovely surprise and congratulate the real Men of our projects on this holiday! In this photoshoot, we present ourselves in our usual roles – office employees. But as is customary in our profession, even the gray office days of a PR specialist can be filled with bright colors. And, of course, first and foremost, we are girls, so the familiar objects in our hands immediately acquire a second interpretation ;). Enjoy watching and once again, Happy Holiday to you, our Defenders!'

And of course, this miracle would not have been possible without the efforts of the authors of these works. Photos and makeup - Alena Kruchenyk, hairstyles - Veronika Efremova.
Thanks, girls!
