Mehrun's Razor
The creator of this masterpiece is William Doran. "I received an order to create a replica of Mehrunes' Razor from the video game [Elder Scrolls](/games?search=Elder Scrolls): Skyrim." - William writes. He made the dagger from PVC (Polyvinyl chloride).
Creation Process:
He started with a simple vector diagram, based on in-game screenshots.
The main shape of the blade and handle were made from PVC.
PVC layers were glued together with epoxy resin. He sharpened the edges of the blade using a Dremel drum sander.
A lathe was used for the handle of the dagger. The sphere was made from an acrylic ball, and a threaded rod was attached to it, which was used to connect all the parts.
The sheath is also made from PVC. By bending a piece of PVC foam, he created a loop for the belt and secured it onto the sheath.
The symbol of Oblivion on the sheath was made from Magic Sculpt material.
He painted the details by hand.
