Comic Con Igromir Announces the First Participants in Its Music Program: “Ellie on the Poppy Field” and Drummatix

The Comic Con Igromir pop culture festival, which will take place from December 3 to 6 at the Timiryazev Center in Moscow, is beginning to announce its music lineup. For the second year in a row, Yandex Music is serving as its curator.

On December 5, Ally on the Poppy Field will take the festival stage — Victoria Trunova’s solo indie project, featuring the soulful voice of pre-revolutionary romances and delicate poetry. The performer has more than 1.7 million monthly listeners on Yandex Music, and her songs often go viral on social media. In addition, Ally on the Poppy Field wrote and performed the song “Mara and Morok,” based on Lia Arden’s fantasy bestseller series of the same name, and composed the soundtrack for the audio series based on Angelina and Veronica Shen’s “Kanashibari” series.

On Sunday, December 6, Drummatix will bring the festival’s program to a close. The group’s songs feature in the films Major, On the Edge and Tagar. Led by Ekaterina Bardysh, Drummatix regularly headlines major music festivals, including Wild Mint, Bylinny Bereg and others. The performers’ signature style is an authentic fusion of ethnic music, rock and hip-hop.
