Details of the grand celebration of Victory Day on Red Square in "World of Tanks"
"[World of Tanks](/games?search=World of Tanks)" presents update 1.34 "Time of Heroes", which is designed to honor the memory of the heroes of the Great Patriotic War and recreate the spirit of the great battle that led to Victory. Players will be able to immerse themselves in the festive atmosphere starting with a festive hangar transformed into Red Square, filled with historical references to key events of 1941-1945. Familiar patriotic compositions and thematic in-game events featuring unique missions, rewards, and historical notes allow players to gain a deeper understanding of the historical context and significance of past events.
Hangar
One of the key elements of the update will be the themed hangar of "World of Tanks," transformed into Red Square ahead of the Parade. Special attention from the developers was given to the detailing of architecture, historical references, symbolism, and visual elements that convey the atmosphere of the heroic era of past years.
Players will also feel the spirit of Victory through well-known compositions accompanying the festive hangar: "Victory Day" by composer David Tukhmanov and "Sacred War" performed by the National Academic Concert Orchestra of Belarus named after M.Ya. Finberg.
The appearance of the festive hangar (and other details of the event) can be found here.
"Time of Heroes"
In honor of Victory Day, the in-game event "Time of Heroes" will return to the game, serving as a tribute to the feats of our ancestors. It is not just game content — it is an opportunity for players to honor the memory of heroes.
"Time of Heroes" will take place from April 30 to May 19. Players will be able to participate in the reconstruction of the most important battles of 1941-1945, such as the Battle of Moscow, Stalingrad, the Kursk Battle, Operation Bagration, the Storming of Königsberg, and the Battle of Berlin. Moreover, players will be able to experience the entire combat path of the event on historically accurate tanks: in the initial phase of the "Defense" mode, authentic vehicles from that time will be available: T-34, KV-1, SU-152, and others, while in the "Breakthrough" mode — newer ones: IS-3, T-44, ISU-152, and others. Each mode offers unique progression and rewards. The player's task changes from defense in the initial stages to active offense from the turning point in the Kursk Battle until the end of hostilities.
Players can expect cooperative battles against AI-controlled vehicles. As part of the event, they will be able to learn about the biographies of legendary Soviet commanders such as Georgy Zhukov, Amasasp Babajanyan, and Nikolai Vatutin and feel like part of battles led by great commanders. By progressing through the event, players can acquire these heroes as crew members and a unique premium tank "IS-3 Parade" with an animated flag.

Completing all stages of progression will allow players to earn these rewards completely for free.
"Frontline Diary: The Path to Victory"
From May 5 until the end of update 1.34 "Time of Heroes", "World of Tanks" players will be able to immerse themselves in the historical events of 1945 that led to the victory over Nazi Germany and the end of World War II, aided by historical notes "Frontline Diary: The Path to Victory" created by the "World of Tanks" development team. Within the event, players will learn about key and significant moments in 1945, heroic battles, strategic operations, and outstanding individuals who made invaluable contributions to achieving Victory. Each note will be accompanied by interesting facts and graphic materials. By completing special tasks, players will have the chance to participate in a draw for the Soviet premium tank of level 8 "STG Guardsman", as well as in-game rewards that include a unique themed 2D style "Kremlin Stars".
Battle Pass: Special Chapter "Mouse Hunt"
At the end of May, access to the special chapter of the Battle Pass will open, allowing players to earn the Soviet trophy Mouse for free — the "captured" version of the German super-heavy tank Maus. Both the appearance and armor of the vehicle correspond to the period when the tank was captured by the Red Army. The camouflage pattern that the Mouse now wears in the Patriot Park has been recreated, along with the "upside-down" design featuring the sickle and hammer, which was applied by the Germans before its trials to simulate its Soviet origin. In the improved part of the Battle Pass, players will meet Svetlana Koshkina — a composite image of tankers who honorably and bravely passed through the Great Patriotic War.
Chain of Victories
Players who regularly play in "[World of Tanks](/games?search=World of Tanks)" will be able to receive additional rewards. The Chain of Victories is an innovative feature that allows players to earn rewards for completing a simple daily task. The longer the daily unbroken series of logins and task completions, the more rewards the player receives. Among the potential rewards are in-game gold, tanks, bonds, new experimental equipment, components, and much more.
