Children of the Birch will come to Igromir with a new demo and real birch bark!

Russian studio UvuikSmoniti is excited to announce that its debut project — the atmospheric Slavic Metroidvania Children of the Birch — will participate in the upcoming Comic Con Igromir! The game will be showcased to the public in the indie zone, where everyone will have the opportunity to be the first to try out a new exclusive demo created specifically for the exhibition. However, the developers have prepared something more for the guests than just a gaming session. Each visitor to the booth will have the chance to leave their mark in the game world forever by taking part in a unique interactive experience!

The studio UvuikSmoniti believes in the power of community and invites every player to become a co-author of the “Children of the Birch” universe by inscribing their name in the history of development! Everyone who tries the game and leaves their feedback or wishes will be able to write their own name or message on a real piece of birch bark — an ancient Slavic writing material. After the festival concludes, the development team will digitize all the inscriptions and transfer them to a special location within the game, creating an eternal memorial for the very first fans of the project!

Moreover, guests who show special interest in the game and add it to their Steam wishlist will receive a themed sticker pack and a set of postcards as a gift. The most active and engaged visitor, whose feedback will be most valuable to the team, will receive the grand prize: in addition to having their name immortalized in the game, they will receive an exclusive styled T-shirt and a figurine of one of the game’s characters!
