The “Fan Station” Festival will take place on October 10 and 11 at the Dynamo Sports Academy
This year will see the second Fan Station festival, whose organizers have decided to bring together board games, cosplay, TTRPGs, as well as creators, artists, and fan communities dedicated to these board games and their worlds. This way, visitors who come for one hobby can discover something related right on site — take a photo with a character from their favorite game, play a board game spin-off set in a familiar world, try out a game with similar mechanics or atmosphere, buy a souvenir, or chat with a game creator or artist.
The festival will feature several special guests, including voice actor Vsevolod Kuznetsov, rapper Big Russian Boss, and the team behind the “Dungeons of Chicken Curry” show, as well as bloggers well known among fans of board and tabletop role-playing games. The full list is available here.
On Saturday, after the main program ends, there will be a major stand-up comedy show for VIPs, running until 11:00 p.m. and featuring Denis Antipin, Alexey Solovyov, Artyom Yemelyanov, Lev Eryomenko, and Seva Lovkachyov.
In addition to the activities on the main stage, visitors will be able to try board games from publishers such as Hobby World, Lavka Igr, Fabrika Igr, Evrikus, Crowd Games, Niza Gamz, and others for free. Specially trained game demonstrators will help explain the rules. TTRPG fans will find several booths run by teams specializing in role-playing games. There will even be a 4game zone with computer games.
The festival will also feature an “Authors’ Alley.” At booths run by popular artists and crafters, visitors will be able to purchase creator merchandise, art, jewelry, accessories, figurines, and other types of work.
The website features an interactive map (it can be found above the Gallery) — hover over a booth to get information about it, and just above the map there is a search bar for finding booths by the names of creators, publishers, or teams.
The Fan Station festival will take place on October 10 and 11. The venue is the Dynamo Sports Academy (2 Yury Nikulin Street, Moscow; near Dynamo metro station).
More information can be found on the website and in the community.
