The source code of Fallout 1-2 preserved thanks to Rebecca Heineman
Tim Cain recently lamented that the source code of Fallout 1-2 is lost. The publisher Interplay demanded that employees destroy all data after development.
As it turns out, Rebecca Heineman, formerly William Heineman (The Supreme Court of the Russian Federation recognized the «international public movement of LGBT» as an extremist organization and banned its activities on the territory of Russia), co-founder of Interplay, preserved the source code of Fallout 1-2, which makes it easy to modify the game, including for new OS. The code will be published only at the request of the franchise rights holder.
