Isometric retro shooter Machine Gun Fury has been released on consoles
"When tyranny prevails... someone must pull the trigger."
This is the slogan of Machine Gun Fury — a classic arcade isometric shooter based on reflexes, with no cover systems and zero compromises. Players will take on the role of one of three unstoppable soldiers — Gunner Jimbo, Suzy Uzi, or Mini-Gun Floyd — and fight whole armies of enemies across eight explosive regions.
The heroes can not only use their own weapons and grenades but also jump into tanks, boats, and assault buggies capable of leveling everything in their path. There are even special locations where the isometric view switches to a side-scrolling platformer.
Game features:
- Dynamic gameplay with a top-down and side-scrolling view.
- Huge weapon arsenal.
- Authentic 8-bit pixel graphics with modern perks.
- Destructible elements, screen shake, particle effects, and layered parallax backgrounds.
- Explosive soundtrack that sounds like an arcade machine cranked up to full power.
On March 20, the game was released on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. Around the same time, it received an update on Steam.
