First Channel Cup. World of Tanks
First Channel and E TERRA present the eSports "First Channel Cup. [World of Tanks](/games?search=World of Tanks)". The tournament for one of the most popular games in the world, featuring legendary armored vehicles from the mid-20th century, is dedicated to the 80th anniversary of victory in the Great Patriotic War. It is a tribute to the memory and respect for the heroes who fought for the future of our country.
The Cup final will take place on April 26 at the Universal Sports Hall "Druzba" in Moscow and will be broadcast on television and on the First Channel's web resources. The commentators are recognized professional experts of "World of Tanks": DemaKput (Roman Gaivoronsky), Sh0tnik (Nikita Pakhomov), and EviL GrannY (Andrey Somov).
The prize pool for the tournament is 5 million rubles.
The qualifying stage will follow the Single Elimination system and will consist of Open and Closed qualifications. Anyone interested can participate in the Open qualifiers. The top eight teams will advance to the Closed qualification, where they will join another eight teams that received direct invitations. The match format is 7x7. Mode – Attack/Defense. Maps – Prokhorovka, Muravanka, Mines, Steppes, Karelia.
