Lineage 2 Essence received a massive March update Echo of Elements

On March 18, the Echo of Elements update was released for the Russian version of the MMORPG Lineage 2 Essence. Its main feature was a large-scale overhaul of the mage archetype. Absorbing elemental energy, casters significantly strengthened in battle. Their attack power and skill effectiveness increased, the chance for critical magic attacks rose, and new rare skills were introduced. The changes affected both PvP and PvE battles, making mages more versatile.

Other classes also received enhancements. Archers increased their skill effectiveness. The Shilen Temple Knight and Divine Temple Knight became more resilient and powerful. The Despot and Glass of Fate advanced in the art of fire control, mastering the devastating spells “Inferno Strike” and “Bright Flame.”

To celebrate the update, players have been given new challenges. In the worlds of Eva and Wolf, a monster invasion has begun, which must be countered in events: Exploring Spatial Gates, Giran Harbor, and Destroying the Dark Legion. Brave warriors of the Samurai server will face off against the legendary dragon Antharas.

The patch also made Valakas, the powerful fire dragon, an even more coveted prize. Players can now obtain the Valakas ring, which significantly boosts the character’s attack stats. By sharpening it to +5 and above, players can become true bosses in PvP arenas. Additionally, the trophies from world bosses have improved — victories can yield special armor and weapons from +5 to +7. A new trading function for adena has also been added to the inter-server auction.

The demons of the Island of Hell have become stronger and replenished their ranks. The time for their reappearance in the blazing location has decreased, promising more intense battles. Enhanced characteristics for character leveling have appeared in the Aden Laboratory.

The amount of adena dropped from monsters in the Dragon Fire Swamp has increased, and the experience gained during hunting has also improved.
