"World of Tanks" celebrates its birthday with flair

"World of Tanks" presents a festive update 1.36, dedicated to the game’s birthday. Players will immerse themselves in the holiday atmosphere, where they can expect valuable gifts, including a premium tank and a festive style, economic bonuses, a unique map "Caucasus," inspired by the landscapes of autumn Dagestan, a new branch of powerful British double-barreled heavy tanks, and much more.

Birthday of "World of Tanks"

The "World of Tanks" team invites all players to join the festive event, which will take place from August 5 to August 20 in honor of the game's birthday. Tankers can expect gifts and special gameplay opportunities. The "Golden Wagon" will open — a communal storeroom with a billion gold, where silver can be exchanged for gold. Throughout the event, a permanent economic bonus will be active: +25% to silver, combat experience, crew experience, and free experience for each battle.

Additionally, a festive mail service will launch, allowing players to gift items to friends and other players. A special festive gift set will include a premium tank of level VII, 3 days of premium account, and an exclusive 2D style "Festive Party."

New Map "Caucasus"

"World of Tanks" continues to unveil picturesque corners of vast Russia. Following Kaliningrad and Kamchatka, the game introduces the Caucasus — a new map inspired by the southern color of Dagestan. The musical accompaniment, created using national musical instruments, conveys the atmosphere of the region. Here, every slope breathes legend, and ancient history intertwines with modernity.

The new map is not just a backdrop, but a living world with character. The developers sought to convey the spirit of Dagestan in detail and visually, so that every player feels that behind every stone and contour of the terrain lies a story filled with strength and time.

To allow players to comfortably explore the new map and its features without worrying about statistics, a special "Arcade" mode will be available from the moment of the update's release — standard battles will take place exclusively on the new map.

New Branch of British Heavy Tanks

The game now features the first British double-barreled heavy tanks. Four new vehicles were created to dominate the battlefield. With the cold determination of gentlemen, they instantly punish inattentive opponents.

Reliable frontal armor, decent maneuverability, and devastating salvos with minimal delay make them equally effective in both defense and attack.

"Frontline"

From July 28 to August 4, the game mode "Frontline" will be available for tanks of level VIII.

"Frontline" is not only massive battles of 30 vs 30 players in the largest locations, but also valuable rewards, including bonds and battle pass points, as well as the opportunity to roll out favorite level VIII tanks.

Improvements to Crew Interaction System

In update 1.36, the crew management will improve, making it easier to understand their current state. The crew member profile will be updated, editing will be enhanced, and notifications for double skills will change. There will be an option for mass demobilization from the Barracks. The "zero" skill will now be displayed more vibrantly, and the widget in the garage will be more compact. A new filter for unique crew members will also be added.

Ranked Battles

Ranked battles in the update will occur on VI level vehicles. Players can expect three divisions with five ranks, some of which will be non-burnable.

By completing combat tasks, players can earn prize battles — winning them doubles the number of chevrons. Rewards are given for each rank: premium days, free experience, resources, and components for experimental equipment. Upon reaching the final rank, players will be able to choose improved equipment from a special list.

Sprint

In update 1.36, a Sprint will launch — a week-long event for clans with a choice of convenient two-hour prime time.

Participants will be rewarded with gold, clan reserves of levels 11 and 12, as well as chevrons needed for purchases in the clan shop. The assortment includes unique vehicles and customization elements.
