"World of Tanks" presents the update "Path to Victory"
The developers of "World of Tanks" have prepared for players the update "Path to Victory". It will introduce a new season of the battle pass, the nation "National Team". The crown of the main branch is the Merkava LP, while the sub-branch, consisting of tanks of levels IX and X, will be headed by the reliable T-54D with a unique "Pyrometer" mechanic that helps detect enemy vehicles. Now, "World of Tanks" will feature various game modes: "Sprint", "Assault: Thunder Bear" and "Arcade". In addition, in April there will be a continuation of the gaming event about the Red Planet - "To Mars: Chaos", which players have come to love.
Battle Pass: "Path to Victory"
The sixteenth season of the battle pass in "World of Tanks" will be the first gaming event dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory. As players progress through the chapters, they will have the opportunity to earn points and get acquainted with new commanders - legendary marshals Konstantin Rokossovsky, Yakov Fedorenko, Pavel Rotmistrov, and Mikhail Katukov. Their appearance and titles correspond to the year 1945. The key vehicles of the season will be the IS-7 in the 3D style "Sword of Victory", the Object 268 in the style "Shield of Victory", as well as the T-100 LT and its "Wings of Victory". Additionally, players will be able to purchase new vehicles in the store for tokens: the heavy premium tank of the ninth level Lisak and the medium premium tank of the ninth level Bofors Pagod TK105.
National Team
"National Team" is a new nation in "World of Tanks", uniting vehicles from world tank design under a common flag. Players can expect twelve vehicles from levels I to X, a sub-branch of levels IX and X, with the versatile medium tank Merkava LP and the assault tank T-54D finishing the branches.
The medium tanks of the sub-branch, headed by the T-54D, possess an exclusive mechanic for the "National Team" - the "Pyrometer", which activates with the key "X". It will allow players to detect an opponent if at least one dimensional point of their vehicle is not hidden behind an obstacle. The enemy tank will be highlighted for both the player using the mechanic and for allied vehicles. Meanwhile, the player who gets lit up will see a special indicator with a timer counting down to the moment of detection. This will allow them to hide by moving behind cover.
Assault: Thunder Bear
In the new launch of the "Assault" mode, players can expect several important changes: updated damage mechanics from the minefield, reworked reconnaissance aircraft, and a tweaked ranking system. Some modifiers have also been changed. With the introduction of the new "Assault", players will be able to rent X-level vehicles to participate in the event in the corresponding section of the mode's shop. The shop's assortment has been expanded with a completely new IX-level SPG Klevets, as well as new 2D styles. Furthermore, players can look forward to a new progression 2D style in "Thunder Bear", which can be obtained by advancing through ranks.
"To Mars: Chaos"
On April 8, players will be able to try out the gaming event "To Mars: Chaos", which continues last year's expedition to the Red Planet. The main task remains the same: to create maximum activity near the astronomical Object and gather as much information as possible from it. To achieve this goal, a new research device will be used in addition to the already familiar rover.
For successfully completing mission tasks, rewards are expected, including new experimental equipment that increases damage, and updated containers that can be obtained for both gold and credits, as well as for free as part of progression. Inside the containers, among other things, there is a rare high-tech German heavy tank with good armor, a comfortable weapon, and decent mobility - "Find-4".
Sprint
Players can look forward to two Sprint launches lasting seven days each. Clans will have the opportunity to earn bonds, gold, clan reserves, battle equipment, and clan chevrons for participation in 7x7 battles during the pre-selected two-hour prime time.
Arcade
The "World of Tanks" team is again inviting players to participate in the "Arcade" - now, the already familiar modifiers will be supplemented by the mechanics of repairing equipment and replenishing ammunition directly during battle.
