Registration has started for the esports tournament 'Battle for Moscow'
The company "Rostelecom", the party "United Russia", the Museum of Victory, and the company "Lesta Games" are holding the cyber tournament "Battle for Moscow" in the online game "World of Tanks". The competitions will take place in two stages.
The qualifying round has already begun and will last until August 23, 2026, inclusive. At this stage, battles are held in the "Random Battle" mode, where the goal of each participant is to achieve the best individual result. Ten players who achieve the best results in the online qualifiers (the results of 15 solo battles with the highest amount of "clean" experience conducted from 8:00 (MSK) to 23:59 (MSK) will be counted) will receive an invitation to the finals in Moscow.
The final stage will take place on September 6, 2026, at the Museum of Victory on Poklonnaya Hill. During the draw, two teams of 5 people will be formed from the participants. The battle between them will take place in Attack/Defense mode on the "Battle for Moscow" map.
Every tournament participant who played at least 15 battles will receive a set of emblems and other decorative items. Players with the best results will receive gold depending on their place in the overall ranking (more details — here). The 10 finalists will also receive a gold reward depending on whether their team wins or loses.
