New Dungeon and Three Group Hunting Zones: Lineage 2 Received a Major Update Orc Village
A major update for the MMORPG Lineage 2 (not to be confused with Lineage 2 Essence and Lineage 2 Legacy) has been released on 4Game, titled Orc Village. The update offers players new challenges and in-game locations.
The main addition is the Abandoned Cave of Trials. This is a dungeon designed for solo play, accessible from the city of Aden — a special character, Karinia, will indicate the way. Players must rescue hostages from hostile orcs as quickly as possible. The reward depends on the speed of completion, with the maximum prize going to those who complete the task in less than 4 minutes and 30 seconds.
The area around the Orc Village location has been significantly expanded. Three group hunting zones have been added to the game. The first, the Plateau of Immortality, is available to characters from level 122. Here resides the Nerba tribe of orcs, skilled warriors with unique attack patterns. These monsters are enhanced and inflict a new negative effect. Players at level 126 can test their skills by visiting the Khashi Orc Logging Camp. It is inhabited by creatures that can also put up a significant fight using updated combat tactics. The Khashi Orc Fortress is intended for players level 130 and above and features increased difficulty. The enemies not only inflict negative effects, but also employ battle tactics in the best traditions of the Nerba tribe of orcs.
With the update, the drop rate from one of the game's iconic bosses — the dragon Valakas — has also improved. Now the rewards for defeating him have become even more valuable. Additionally, the cycle of character class changes continues: innovations have affected the warrior archetypes.
