Overview of the Deus Ex: Human Revolution Augmented Edition

By the will of fate and thanks to NDGames, I got my hands on the game [Deus Ex: Human Revolution](/games?search=Deus Ex: Human Revolution), specifically the Augmented Edition. In this post, I want to share what the "Additional Edition" contains.

First of all, I have [Deus Ex: Human Revolution](/games?search=Deus Ex: Human Revolution) Augmented Edition from the European Union in my hands. All information and texts are printed in English, but there are a couple of lines in Russian on the product registration card.
The box of the game [Deus Ex: Human Revolution](/games?search=Deus Ex: Human Revolution) Augmented Edition is made of thick cardboard, which is nice to the touch and visually appealing.

Inside the box is a three-fold booklet made of less dense paper, also done tastefully and ergonomically.
The booklet contains two discs and three inserts with Steam keys. The first key activates the game itself, the second gives additional bonuses, which I will describe later in this post, and the third insert is needed for registering the game on the official Square Enix website, which is the publisher of the game.
At the very bottom of the box is a 40-page art book, printed on thin glossy paper; the downside of the book is its binding and, unfortunately, the soft cover.
In the end, we received:
— DVD disc with the game;
— Bonus DVD with all trailers, a film about the creation, soundtrack, and video comic;
— 40-page colorful art book;
— In-game goodies;

Augmented Edition is not just a beautiful box; it also contains in-game bonuses that can significantly ease your progress in the game. The bonuses consist of two parts: Explosive Mission Pack and Tactical Enhancement Pack. Let's find out in detail what they are and what to do with them.

The Longsword Whisperhead Suppressed Extreme Range sniper rifle is a military specimen developed for special operations based on the standard Longsword 202 ERaSeR sniper rifle model. Its high accuracy, long range, and other outstanding qualities are complemented by a built-in sound suppression system, making the rifle virtually silent. As a result, it is nearly impossible to detect the shooter at a considerable distance.
