Oh My Dog! — A Free Idle RPG on Telegram: An Office Clerk, the Dog God, and an Army of Dogs
Hi, gamers! I want to tell you about a game you can play right in a messaging app.
The game is called Oh My Dog! — a free idle RPG about superhero dogs, and it lives right in Telegram. There’s nothing to download: open the bot, tap “Play,” and you’re in the game.

Let’s start with the story. It’s got a sense of humor. You’re an ordinary, overworked office worker: a deadline is looming, your boss is losing it, and your colleagues are dumping their tasks on you. Then, at your lowest moment, a talking Dog God appears and declares that you’ve put up with enough. He summons 50 to 100 warrior dogs with superpowers to help you teach those workplace bullies a lesson.
The heroes are a colorful bunch. For example, there’s Dog Father, the canine godfather, and Husky Lee, a husky who’s clearly watched Bruce Lee movies. Each dog has a unique appearance, combat role, and abilities: some take hits for the team, some deal damage, and others provide support.
Here’s how the game works. It’s an idle and card-based RPG. You assemble a team of dogs, and battles play out automatically. The decisions happen before the fight: who to bring along, what gear to give each hero, and which pets to assign to them. There are no complicated controls, but there’s still plenty to think about — which dogs work best together and who to level up first.
The best part is that your progress continues even when you’re offline. Close the chat, go about your day, come back — and your team will already have accomplished something. Just check in a couple of times a day to collect rewards, change your gear, and level up your favorite dog. When you’re in the mood for some excitement, there’s a PvP arena where you can face real players, as well as bosses and dungeons. There are also alliances and guild battles: invite friends from your chats and fight together. The more coordinated your team is, the higher it climbs.
A little about why it’s on Telegram. Oh My Dog! used to be a regular mobile app on Google Play: store, installation, registration. Then the game moved to Telegram. Now your account is created automatically when you tap “Play” and linked to your Telegram account — no separate login or password needed. You can play on your phone or computer, anywhere you have Telegram, and your progress stays the same.
The game is free, and there’s currently a promotion for new players — 1,000 free summons. That’s enough to put together your first team and jump straight into battle. The game is available in Russian and English.
