A few words about Igromir 2010 and a few photos to go along with it

At Igromir, I purchased a VIP ticket, and therefore,

Igromir 2010 began for me on 3/11/2010. I arrived, visited the gamer.ru stand, dropped off my things, and headed out to explore. It didn't take long because at 12:00, there was a conference from Microsoft. The conference was solid, with a lot of information about the launch of Xbox Live in Russia and the Kinect technology. Andrei Kalugin also mentioned that Kinect is already on its way to Russia and will be available for sale starting November 10, 2010.

Most of all, I was pleased by Alexander Kozhevnikov (speaking on behalf of EA), who told us about the launch of the EA Store in Russia! The system already accepts Russian credit cards and the internet currency Webmoney.

The business day was very spacious! Run, jump, and play whatever you want without queues!

I popped by the panzar-studio stand. Together with tonik and Steven seagull, we played that very Forged by Chaos, and teodorix was giving tips on how to play and the nuances of the game. The game is interesting, and the fact that it runs on CryEngine III and didn’t lag at all is pleasing :) For some reason, I didn’t think to ask which version was presented at Igromir. As a gift, I received a T-shirt with the Panzar logo.

Unexpectedly, I forgot about the business day and started talking about Igromir in general.

At first glance, the stand of the game World of Tanks looked innocent. Until I turned around and started capturing a shot :)


Meanwhile, real battles were taking place at the gamer ring from gamer.ru, and while I was running and registering for the Fifa 11 tournament, aquarity snapped a funny shot, the rear belongs to a participant of the gamer ring - alistera007.

One of the few girls who impressed me at Igromir represented the mail.ru team and promoted a game called Cross Fire - http://cfire.mail.ru/

There was also a cute girl at the gamer.ru stand, and kotovsky rolled up next to her, creating a wonderful photograph.

And since I mentioned girls, it’s time to name the one who impressed me the most at Igromir 2010 - Onyxia (pseudonym), and as I recently found out, her real name is Kristina. While she was playing Vanquish, her friend Veronika was photographing with visitors.


I also visited the 1c-softclub stand, where they were giving away gifts almost for free; you just had to answer some simple questions correctly. Thanks to Alexander aka vizzerdrix for a small present in the form of a jewel of the game Star Wars: The Force Unleashed 2 and for the mega photo, the best troll face I’ve ever seen :)

And you won't believe it! Even though kotovsky was the first to be given away, this gift actually belonged to her from me :) A belated birthday present as promised.

At the stand of the game Shogun 2: Total War, there was a really cool outfit and girl.

There were zombies wandering around Igromir, putting up stickers everywhere: Rock is back. Whom were they promoting? I couldn't figure it out :)

Super, right? Will bonana-hunter appreciate it?

Tekken + Witcher = Wow

I didn't actually attend the Witcher 2 presentation, but according to Ksandr_Warfire, there was nothing new; they showed a level in prison, and yes, it was in English.

I took a photo at the end of one of the days of Igromir, Kiguri with a friend, she was sitting under a birch tree, and I interrupted her peace and started taking pictures)

I completely forgot to tell about the end of the second day of Igromir, when aquarity, cannoneer, and I were invited to a closed Microsoft party. There, I relaxed and sipped beer, while aquarity and cannoneer could enjoy the Kinect without waiting in line :) Thanks for the invite xboxru.

Commercial break:

At the Microsoft stand, I was drinking Bud beer!

At the gamer ring from gamer.ru, there were real wrestlers.

So everyone enjoyed this show and the bodies of beautiful girls "for free"

Fights were happening even in foam, and the wrestlers were merciless, tearing each other’s clothes off :)

I stayed at the gamer ring for a long time, so I also filmed the gladiatorial battles with swords from representatives of the game Atlantis Online :)

They were also inviting people from the crowd onto our ring, giving our girls pleasure :)

In this contest, you had to hold a marker between your legs and draw a character from the game, and not what you might think :) The girls were holding a piece of paper behind on a holder.

As for NoFate, I still haven't played Fifa 11 with him, but he made an innocent face and said that everything is ahead :)

This girl approached the GRU stand. I fell in love at first sight :)

The winners of the gamer ring :) I was rooting for Nastya aka Akane, and she brought me a lot of experience with her victory :)

You can write a lot about Igromir, you can upload tons of photos, you can discuss it for days and nights, and only when it ends do you start to miss it, and you’ll have to miss it for a whole year.

And in a year, we will meet again and dive into this event together once more.

Oh, I forgot to mention the stand for the game Postal III. I wanted to mention it not just for fun, but because I truly liked the game, unexpectedly so. The graphics look simply stunning; I didn’t expect it at all. The stand was quite large and interesting; they brought in rodeo, and everyone could show off their skills there :)

I’m looking forward to the game, what can I say. I’m genuinely interested.
