"Why?" #2 Early Access of Olden Era

The author of the site Heroes3WoG.net Liso1 has published the second series of "Did You Know?" with ten questions. Since Olden Era is in early access, some aspects of the game may change.

In Olden Era, the Necropolis hero Tarius is a reference to the previous game Unfrozen, Iratus: Lord of the Dead.

The description of the artifact Tactics Guide is as follows — "22... Ra4 23. Nc3 Ra8 24. Nb5 Ra4 25. Nc3 Ra8 26. Nb5". This refers to a real chess game between Anatoly Karpov and Anthony Miles, which took place in 1986, where one of the players lost the right to castle.

In Olden Era, directly on the hero's screen, you can destroy artifacts in favor of alchemical dust, a new resource.

The artifact Sphere of Banishment is back in the game! Only in Olden Era does it prevent the use of magic in the first round.

Catyrags are dangerous in Olden Era, as they have the ability "Legacy of Mad Times" — when they die, they inflict berserk on enemies.

In Olden Era, even level two peasants have their dark secrets; upon death, peasants transform into ghouls, as they cannot live normally without their beloved pigs.

Next to each Necropolis hero in Olden Era, there is a skull icon that activates the necromancer energy meter. Use this icon before desired battles.

In Olden Era, curses (e.g., after visiting the tomb of the nameless hero) and bonuses are displayed directly on the hero's screen (at the top). All statuses are now easy to find!

The artifact Diplomatic Gifts from Olden Era is yet another homage to "Heroes of Might and Magic III" (Medal of the Official).

In the first act of the Olden Era campaign, players will meet familiar characters — Tanta, Galthran, Gunnar, and Fjura (who has the name Lafjur).
