The fact is, ladies and gentlemen, that on Gamer.ru, the 21st century will for a while be known as the Age of Dragons.
From November 5, 2009 - the moment Dragon Age: Origins went on sale - to March 21, 2011, exactly 500 days have passed.
We decided to celebrate this anniversary and pay tribute to the recently released second part with a wonderful contest that will please all fans of this great gaming universe.
I won’t list how much time many of us have spent in this game, how many sleepless nights we’ve led our characters through forests, mountains, dungeons, palaces, caves, dates, weddings, brothels, hmmm... and generally through various adventures that our main heroes were simply asking for. The creation of BioWare has not gone unnoticed, nor will this contest.
As in any role-playing game, the Dragon Age series offers plenty of options for story development. You can play the canonical antagonist who won’t miss a chance to pin an enemy to the nearest oak with his sword, just to see what those nails are actually made of. Or you could portray a valiant paladin ready to rescue a kitten from a tree and help an old man cross the road, carefully placing that kitten on the old man’s bald head.
There are many paths through the game, as well as ways to develop your character. This will be the essence of the contest.
You will need to write a walkthrough or a character development guide for the first or second part of the game. More details on the submission requirements are below.
REQUIREMENTS FOR SUBMISSIONS
• On Walkthroughs and Guides. For the purposes of this contest, a walkthrough is considered to be a detailed and illustrative description of a location (or several interconnected locations), while a guide is a description of actions necessary for the most effective development of a specific character or particular class of characters.
• Nominations. There are exactly four of them.

- Guide for Dragon Age 2
• Formatting. In the post title, write "Walkthrough/guide DAO/DA2 Brief Title. Supported by GAMER.ru, AMD, and EA", without quotes. Don’t forget the tag "contest".

• Submissions. One submission per author in one nomination. No rewrites or replacements of works are allowed. If you already have a post with a walkthrough or guide, now is the time to admire it, reread it, and write a new one based on it that is much better, more competent, and higher quality.
We will think of something for that old post.
This means that all posts must be written specifically for the contest.
• Deadlines. Submissions can be posted in the relevant blog until April 22 inclusively. The reception of works will end at 20:00 Moscow time. You have plenty of time to impress everyone with your knowledge of the game universe. And newcomers will have enough time to start the game from the very beginning.
