RPG 'Strings of Fate XI: The Magical Dream' Now on Steam
After its early access release, RPG 'Strings of Fate XI: The Magical Dream' encountered technical difficulties, but the developers were able to significantly improve the situation over 3 months and 18 updates. They fixed many bugs, added new features at players' requests, and moreover, opened access to the game on the Steam platform.
Thanks to the active support of the community and the relentless efforts of the 'Strings of Fate XI: The Magical Dream' team, they not only managed to overcome difficulties typical of debut indie projects but also gained recognition from fans of Might and Magic, of which the game is a spiritual successor. This is evidenced by numerous reviews both on Steam and on VK Play.
'To be honest, in the first weeks after release, we were on the verge,' says Sergey Fedosov, the main ideologist and founder of the project. 'But the flow of messages from players was incredible. They were not blaming us, they were helping. Their faith in our world became our main motivation to stay up all night and release patch after patch. These 18 updates are not just code fixes; they are 18 steps we took together with our community. The launch on Steam is as much their victory as it is ours.'
Recently, the developers presented a new trailer showcasing key gameplay elements and all game characters. Work on the game continues. This summer, the studio plans to release a major update: new storylines, additional quests, and improved balance. And in 2026, an expansion to the story will be released - 'Strings of Fate XI: Legends of the North.'
