Watch out, the doors are closing! (creative + red-haired beauty + music)
Lyric Interlude
(lovers of pictures can skip ahead)
"I never told you that I love you" - this song by Dynasty about Yennefer and Geralt has been stuck in my mind all week. It seems impossible to love something that doesn't even exist yet, yet judging by the buzz, excitement, and impatience surrounding the upcoming release of "The Witcher 2," it is indeed possible. May 17th… Each day it's getting harder to wait, and new videos only fuel my already fragile patience.
Sometimes I even wish that the creators of the game would show some humanity, and instead of another trailer, they would release a calming pill in the form of a casual mini-game. But I quickly push these thoughts away: it's not their style or principles. Yet I want it all the same.
It's not easy waiting for that moment when the coveted box is finally in my hands, only to have it instantly tossed into a corner of the room just before the disc hums quietly in the tray - and the very first loading screen of the game appears. Or maybe it won't be like that: the package is carefully unwrapped, the box and its contents are studied from all angles. This prelude is savored, while - outwardly calm and unperturbed - a hand places the disc in the CD-ROM.
And the whole world can be put on pause
In fact, this post was intended for something entirely different… but as I wrote, I felt the urge to open Photoshop and create. This was done for myself, but I can't help but share:
On guard for gamer tranquility
Urgently looking for brave maids!
Do not disturb: I am sleeping (and not what you might think)
Packing our bags
At this monumental moment, I can't help but recall the very wise and foresighted tradition of pregnant women - packing a bag with everything necessary for the new mom and the long-awaited baby a month before the big day. After all, we start to love our children from the very first screenshot. Although, I seem to have digressed – men won't understand me, and I should have used cars or new graphics cards as metaphors. There's nothing to be done about this target audience… In fact, what I mean is - it's time to pack the bag. Whatever is needed: coffee, cookies, supplies of cold beer, a vacation, a sick leave certificate, a sign on the door saying “Gameplay in progress. Do not disturb,” and a thorough talk with a loved one regarding "gaming" plans for the near future. It’s time. Because the new gameplay videos of "The Witcher 2" don’t allow you to sit still and wait. And because even if other, more pressing problems occupy your thoughts more intensely than the upcoming release, deep down, the clock is still ticking, counting down the last days, hours, and minutes.
And now - pictures
Just to slightly ease the waiting. I warn you honestly: there won't be any erotica (or rather, there will be, but only after May 17th). There will be a little bit of Triss. More specifically, the girl who once portrayed her – Ulyana Azanova aka Klodi Monsoon, she posed as Triss for that cosplay calendar:
