The Wandering Knight Ignox and the Eleventh Chapter of the Russian Version of Gran Saga
A new character has appeared in Gran Saga — Ignox, the master of fire and physical attacks. This wandering knight is one of the heroes of the Black Dragon War, known in those times as the "Blue Flame" and revered as a great warrior. After the war, Ignox mysteriously disappeared, and he has been seen in various corners of the continent — always where battles were unfolding. Rumors circulated that he had become obsessed with war, and only the blood of enemies could quench his thirst for battle. However, the true reason for his wanderings remains a mystery. Players will have to unravel the secrets of the legendary grand knight's past and learn about the empire of Gerus's conspiracy.
Ignox wields unique grand weapons that reflect his heroic past. Among them are the metamorphic grand weapon Kordo "Wing of Crimson Fire," as well as special grand weapons: the devoted knight Mertes, the knight of oblivion Magnus, and the traitor knight Valzhara. A unique feature of the character is that he can use the grand weapon Lasa (except Ingrid), which opens up new tactical opportunities in battle.
With the appearance of Ignox, the eleventh chapter "Heir of Light" opens in the game. Heroes will explore new locations: the Misty Valley, Misty Cave, the Altar of Kankandar, and the Sunset Valley. Players can expect main and side quests, royal quests, as well as new monsters. Additionally, the eleventh chapter's confrontation will be available for the most experienced knights.
The update will bring serious challenges for high-level players. In the "Great Invasion" mode, a new powerful boss will appear — the Legendary Swordsman Tsurgi. This opponent wields the element of rainbow, allowing him to deal equal damage to characters of any element, while also taking damage from them equally. The boss becomes available after completing the main quest of the eleventh chapter and unlocking the location "Tokkebi Valley" in the Sunset Valley. The number of attempts is unlimited, and the maximum number of participants is 5. Rewards depend on the remaining health of the boss and include 10 levels. For victory, players can earn a gem of hatred, a treasure chest with Tsurgi's trophies, and materials to craft a boss ornament with powerful stats. The weekly reward resets every Monday.
The "Clearing" mode has been expanded: a difficult level has been added for two bosses — Mulmun and Murak. To participate, three destruction tickets are required, which are available once a day.
To celebrate the update, large-scale in-game events will commence. The Ignox storyline event will allow players to delve deeper into the story of the wandering knight. Concurrently, there will be an Ignox enhancement event with exclusive rewards for character progression, as well as a special Eliza event. Summoning events will launch with an increased chance of receiving Ignox's grand weapons, demonic grand weapons, artifacts, and choice grand weapons by Kaito.
With the update, new costumes from the "Ceremonial Outfit" series have arrived — 14 types for various characters. Each costume is available for purchase in the shop with a random color or in the fitting room with a chosen color. Within the seasonal pass, players can obtain the "Time of Repentance" costume for Namarié at the 5th rank of the "Premium" level, as well as Bul-Bul — a swift mount — at the 10th rank of the "Master" level.
New purchase bundles have emerged, including a helpful bundle for Ignox and a congratulatory bundle for the 11th chapter. Popular bundles are also returning for sale, including special and exclusive summoning bundles, the Gran Saga welcome bundle, and others. Updated bundles for the following characters are available: Lasa, Seriada, Winn, Karta, Kyuie, Namarié, June, Orti, Kaito, Luin, and Yuna.
The update is available on three platforms — PC, Android, and iOS. Additional game information and news can be found on the website or in social media.
