The Mysterious Computer.
At least half of the people who played Black Ops already know about the Easter egg in the main menu, specifically that you can get up from the chair.
Wandering around the room, you can find a computer, but this computer is much more serious than you think.
In my opinion, everyone who sat down at this computer immediately typed the command
DOA (Secret mini-game)
and that was the end of their interaction with the computer, but now I will tell you what it really hides.
The most important thing to learn is the commands. Here’s the list:
help - displays a list of all commands.
cat - displays data from a file on the screen.
cls - clears the screen.
dir - change directory.
login - log in as another user.
rlogin - connect to a remote computer.
cd - change directory.
mail - read mail.
who - list of users.
encode - encrypt text.
decode - decrypt text.
And now for the most exciting part.
You are currently in the amaison (Alex Mason) directory, and there are a dozen quite interesting files in it.
To see what files are in the directory, type "dir"; to read a file, type "cat filename with case sensitivity" for example "cat NoteX2.txt"
Sound effects will also play, and images will be displayed.
Maybe somewhere in the .txt files, there are passwords for other users who also have their own files, but at least I haven't found them yet.
Oh yes! One more exciting spot! Type "cd /" then "cd bin" and what do we see? It seems to be a list of commands, but it’s much broader! It turns out that there are hidden commands in the game such as "DOA" (mentioned this before) and even a text quest in the style of the '80s!
**command "zork"**
which has its own storyline and points. But in addition to all this, there’s also a personal therapist, **command "alicia"**
who will gladly listen to you.
At this point, I give you the opportunity to search for interesting Easter eggs and hidden features of the computer yourself.
Also, share your findings in the comments!
