The Chronomancer Class Has Arrived in Lost Ark

The “Lord of Time” update has been released in the MMORPG Lost Ark, adding a new Creator archetype class to the game — the Chronomancer. To them, reality itself is an illusion that can be controlled, and in battle they not only manipulate the flow of time but also distort space, carving their own paths through it. The hero moves unpredictably across the battlefield and delivers seemingly impossible strikes against opponents.

The Chronomancer wields the hands of a coordinate clock — a technomagical device that allows them to travel through dimensions. Their reality-manipulation abilities are tracked with a chronoscope. When abilities hit opponents, they reduce the cooldown time of abilities. In addition, charging the chronoscope activates “Acceleration” — a temporary increase to movement speed, skill activation speed, and mana recovery.

There are two main development paths for this class. The first is the Lord of Time. In this branch, the character can record their attributes (position, health, and mana) and shift to an alternate timeline without spending mana. Upon exiting it, they return to their saved state.

The second development path is the Guardian of Space. The character gains significantly shorter ability cooldowns and reduced mana costs. In addition, they can create a special seal on an opponent. Attacks made from the seal’s side count as successful regardless of the character’s actual position.

Along with the new class, the update has introduced events to help players quickly develop their characters. In the “Camp of New Beginnings,” the selected hero may receive a complete set of equipment, as well as the opportunity to level up to a high level. The “Path of Time” provides additional rewards for increasing equipment level, while the island of Maharaka now features mini-games with a variety of rewards.

To celebrate the update, the developers are also giving every player who logs into the game 2 Ascension Tickets — they significantly speed up character progression.
