CD Projekt RED has sent a letter to everyone with a subscription to the official news, revealing some intriguing facts. The most significant one is that The Witcher 2 is nearing the beta testing phase. This is hinted at by people wandering the company office shouting "deadline" and "BETA"!
The "Doppler Effect" contest is over!
Finally, the results of this contest have been announced. The faces of the top three winners, as promised, will appear in the game. Moreover, in the next newsletter, they promised to show finished screenshots.

In January, many gaming magazines featured reviews of The Witcher 2. The developers are extremely grateful for this. Some even used Geralt for their cover designs.
