All-Russian Programming Tournament in the 'Den' 2025
Do you want to test your programming skills and teamwork by competing against the strongest schoolchildren and students in the country? This year, the All-Russian Programming Tournament returns in a revamped format with the multiplayer game 'Beehive Defense: Arena'.
Online Qualifiers: October 1–31
Final Showdown of the Best: November 19, Cyber-Physical Innovation Workshop, Ufa
Teams of schoolchildren from grades 5 to 11 and college students, consisting of 2-3 members, will go through online qualifiers to showcase their skills in creating algorithms for defense robots and conducting virtual battles. The tournament is divided into 8 regional groups to ensure equal conditions for all participants. Each team receives 15 scoring attempts and an unlimited number of practice battles to perfect their strategies.
Advantages of Starting Early
Starting the online qualifiers early provides additional time to study opponents' methods and refine one's own team. This is a real tactical advantage and an opportunity to test different approaches in a safe training environment.
Rules
Special abilities of the robots are disabled — victory depends solely on programming quality. The scoring system is straightforward:
- 2 points for a win,
- 1 point for a draw,
- 0 points for a loss.
In the event of a tie, a tiebreaker is conducted based on the results of direct encounters between the teams.
Final in Ufa
The best teams from the regional groups are invited to the face-to-face final on November 19. Here they will be able to demonstrate everything they learned in the online stage, meet other talented teams, and receive well-deserved recognition.
What to Expect at the Online Qualifying Stage
Skill Awards
The best teams in their groups will receive valuable digital gifts:
- certificates for the winners of the online stage;
- points for the 'Talent NTO' competition, the diploma of which gives additional points to the Unified State Exam (USE);
- exclusive early access to digital editions: books, magazines, and comics from the Den.

Participants can engage in additional activities and win a power bank or cool merchandise from the Den.
For the Finalists
All participants of the final All-Russian tournament will receive commemorative merchandise. Winners and prize-winners will also be awarded diplomas and valuable prizes.
“The Den tournaments, which have been taking place for several years, exist at an interesting intersection of programming competitions and games. Even novice participants, driven by their passion for the game and the spirit of competition, can achieve impressive results. For instance, we had a case where fifth-graders showed determination, mastered the tactical kit of the game, trained actively, and developed, and already the following year won a prize in the final,” shares Artem Sergeev, technical director of the KNFP 'Den', chief judge of the Tournament.
Registration
Gather your friends and register. The online qualifiers start on October 1. You can join immediately or later, but you will face penalties. Make sure you are ready for new challenges and intellectual battles in the 'Arena'.
