The seasonal subscription Chapter V for Crusader Kings III has been released
This year, Crusader Kings III is set to feature new exciting stories alongside its already rich palette of medieval narratives. As part of the seasonal subscription, Chapter V will see the release of two expansions that offer new gameplay opportunities and historical flair, in addition to music and cosmetic packs already available to players.
However, the benefits of the developers' work will also extend to those who do not purchase the new content. Soon, a substantial free update for Crusader Kings III will be released, simplifying the gathering of statistical information and introducing new key combinations, interface changes, and much more.
As for the upcoming expansions, they will unveil aspects of the medieval world that the Crusader Kings community has shown particular interest in. By God Alone is dedicated to religious systems and pays great attention to the evolution of Christianity in Europe and how medieval secular rulers competed with religious orders for power and wealth. Silk & Silver opens playable trading republics, allowing players to assume the role of a medieval merchant who rises to power through skillful trade, a political career, or noble patronage.
The seasonal subscription Crusader Kings III: Chapter V is available and includes:
- Symbols of Authority: This outfit pack features new crowns and headgear for European characters, including crowns inspired by the images of history's most illustrious rulers. This pack is available today and unlocks immediately after purchasing Chapter V.
- Songs of the Realm: The new music pack for Crusader Kings III offers a wide selection of musical accompaniment for managing empires and dynastic intrigues. Songs of the Realm includes thirteen tracks that are a mix of updated classic Crusader Kings compositions and adaptations of traditional European music. This music pack is the ideal soundtrack to pass the time while planning your next move to strengthen your family's power.
- By God Alone: This major expansion for Crusader Kings III focuses on religious life, placing special emphasis on new systems for characters adhering to the Christian faith. Dynasties will need to adapt to religious transformations, monitor changes in doctrines, avoid heresies or embrace them, participate in schisms, and observe how characters deal with religious mandates. The expansion will be released at the end of this year.
- Silk & Silver: This extensive expansion for Crusader Kings III is dedicated to medieval trade and merchant dynasties that ruled great empires or financed their development. Play as a merchant family that needs to maintain an estate and accumulate gold by trading exotic goods. Compete for power in a trading republic where gold is more important than blood, or start trading in a feudal state, financing its expansion. Supplant competing families from the most profitable markets by establishing a monopoly on important trade routes. The expansion will be released at the end of this year.
