Smasher: A VR Shooter Set in a Cyberpunk World Released
Domestic developers are conquering the virtual reality platform with the arcade rail shooter Smasher. In December, the game was released on Steam.
The main feature of the project is the rich arsenal of weapons. Classic items like shotguns, submachine guns, railguns, and katanas with energy waves are complemented by “magic” such as fireballs, electric charges, and force fields.
From this wealth, you will have to mow down hordes of bandits, corporates, robots, sorcerers, and other scoundrels. However, there will also be elaborate bosses like the giant Mother Drone with a swarm of helpers, rocket launchers, and a massive laser eye. And there are special missions where you’ll need to shoot with one hand while hacking a computer with the other.
A VR set is required to play the game.
