Täydellinen maailma – another Asian MMORPG, but not Korean, rather Chinese. Developed by Bejjing Perfect World and quite popular in many countries. There are several versions of Perfect World. The first version was released in January 2006 by Perfect World Entertainment, targeted at a Chinese audience and exists only on one server. The second version (or Perfect World 2) is international and was developed in November 2006. Despite both games being similar in graphics and storyline, they are completely different. As a result, the original Perfect World remains a stronghold for Chinese gamers, while Perfect World 2 is played all over the world. In Russia, the game was localized by Astrum Nival, which later became part of the Mail.ru holding. The Russian version of the game appeared on March 31, 2009. Registration is free, as is the game itself.
Perfect World is permeated with Chinese myths and the spirit of medieval China. The game takes place in a world called P'an-Gu. In the game, you can fly and swim, and there is a day-night cycle. Although the game is free, there is an in-game store where various items can be purchased. There is also an auction in which all users can participate.
Perfect World is a typical fantasy based on Chinese myths. Each player possesses magical abilities, magical and regular weapons, equipment and can use potions, artifacts, and summon various creatures. In general, the toolkit is almost identical to any other Asian MMORPG. At first, the game was distributed by subscription, but later Perfect World switched to the now popular "free to play" system.
At the very beginning of the game, newcomers are offered to complete a series of simple quests to level up. Thanks to these, you can gradually level up without getting distracted by the tedious destruction of mobs. Quests vary for players of different races or character classes. In total, Perfect World has five playable races – humans, sidhe, zoomorphs, amphibians, and the so-called Ancients. They all differ from each other in appearance, classes, abilities, and skills.
Besides killing mobs, players can also engage in PvP. Up to level 30, a player cannot die in battle or kill someone, but upon reaching the aforementioned level, they can attack any game character. In the event of killing another player, the aggressor's name turns bright red. In case of their own death, they can lose various in-game items, including equipment and weapons.
In Perfect World, there are more than 50 territories that can be conquered. If you attack a neutral territory, you will have to fight the monsters inhabiting it. If the territory is already occupied by another clan, a struggle begins between them. To reclaim vital space from the opponent, you need to destroy the central building and towers.
