King's Bounty: Dark Side is yet another standalone add-on to the popular game King's Bounty: Legend of the Knight, blending genres such as RTS and TBS. The project is an internal development by "1C-SoftClub", and the creators of the original game, Katauri Interactive, are not involved in the development.
In the new game, the developers invite players to return to the world of Teana and assume the roles of exiled representatives of dark races, who are trying by all means to regain their former glory.
Where earlier the undead, demons, and orcs symbolized the "dark" side, bringing mischief and doom to the world, while players representing the "light" side brought them retribution at the edge of a sword, now everything is precisely the opposite: drunken with bloodlust, the "light" decided to upset the fragile balance of power, destroying and plundering the lands of their ancestral foes. The last surviving representatives of the ruling houses – an orc, a demoness, and a vampire – flee from their native lands, hoping to find shelter under the wing of the dwarves known for their original neutrality. But they do not yet know that their journey is just beginning.
