The Triad Strikes Back
Good day, gentlemen and ladies. Imagine this situation. You have been working for 2 weeks on a project to participate in some contest, fussing over the content, doing numerous edits, and learning the basics of artistic self-expression through various graphic editors. And then the day of results arrives. Not seeing your nickname on the list of winners, you sigh in disappointment and prepare to get acquainted with the works of those who have outperformed you. It seems surprising, as there are many talented authors on Grusha. However, the next moment you find out that unknowns have won, people who no one has ever seen in the vastness of the entire G.R.U.
Now they have Apple devices, while what have you achieved?
This seems particularly strange, considering that the contest did not receive much attention on social media the very contest (there was a repost on Twitter, though). But that is not what is troubling and angering about the situation. After the publication of the results post, quite a few people are reaching out to the community manager of the organizing company requesting the publication of the winners' works. And in response, there is only meaningful silence... After all this, the works could have been posted in 5 minutes. Let's agree, this is not very ethical towards participants.
This is Wei Shen, and he is disappointed with your passivity as the community manager.
More than 3 days have passed since the announcement of the results. All this time I have been waiting and believing, but alas...
The purpose of this post is to educate. To educate contest organizers about paying attention to public opinion. Remember, not everyone is ready to shout into the void; take care of the reputation of the represented company.
