The cake is not a lie

Kill two birds with one stone? Easy!

Surprise and treat your friends with an unexpected gift: a real cake from the universe of Portal, also known as Black Forest.

To prepare this miracle quickly and easily, you absolutely don’t need to know how to cook. And you won’t even have to bake :)

So, we’ll need:

Let’s forget the original cake recipe for a while. I’m sure you know it by heart )

In fact, all the ingredients we need (and there are only 6) can be found at your nearest grocery store. Saving time and money:

Step 1: Cookies


Please control yourself so you don’t eat them all before our Marlezon ballet starts )

It’s better to find a flat, the widest plate with a round bottom. This is where we will layer the cake. The first layer is cookies.

Dip them briefly in milk and let them soak for a couple of minutes - this will help avoid broken pieces when cutting. Yes, you heard right - we will be cutting :

To prevent the cookie from breaking, hold the knife perpendicular to the entire surface - the pressure should be even.

Why all this? I thought a long time about how to maximize the diameter of our treat while having such shapes as square or rectangle. And I couldn’t come up with anything smarter than this h)

For one layer we used 5 cookies. 5x5= 25 cookies for the cake.

Step 2: Cream

We will make it from **cottage cheese** (I needed 400g, which is 2 packs) and half a can of **condensed milk**. Sweet tooths can pour in the whole can - but be careful, as it affects the consistency of your cream. No mixer required, just mix by hand, then spread a little evenly on the cookies.

We need mooore layers!

To your taste: you can decorate the cake with either our cream or whipped cream.

Step 3: Cherry and Chocolate

The last step is quite simple

Decorate with berries. And don’t forget a candle. The cake is ready! :)
