Over time it evolved to give life to the style that is known today. All this happened at the time of the 1950s when other military forces were already using the garment and better comfort was demanded. Alpha Industries who was the main producer saw it as an opportunity and mass-produced them.
By the 1960s, Hollywood adapted this garment as its own, integrating it into the clothing of great films, such as “Rebel Without a Cause” and “The Great Escape”. It wasn’t until the seventies that we see the birth of skinheads that bomber jackets start to be worn by everyone.
